What are your dreams and goals?
I don't really have what I would call dreams, but like most people I do set myself achievable goals with regards to the growth of my business year on year, and strive for continued success.

What do you do in your spare time?
Since setting up the business at the end of 2001, spare time is something that I haven't really had. I guess if I do get the opportunity to take some time out, I try to catch up with close friends, go out for a nice meal and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine.

What are you most passionate about?
Design is something that I have always been passionate about. Since starting my degree at Edinburgh Art College in 1993 everything has really been about interior design in some shape way or form, be it through the admiration and inspiration of places I have visited, my love of colour, or the commitment I have shown in order to get a business off the ground in a very competitive industry.

ikes and dislikes? |
There are so many things I like it would be impossible to list them, however when it comes to dislikes I find things that are really quite basic very annoying ie. people with no manners, who are unnecessarily rude.

Tell us about any nicknames you have?
Although it is a little dull, I have in fact never really had any nicknames, not even at school.

What does november have in store for you?
November will be very busy. Work wise it is a time of year when pre-Christmas deadlines can be tight. The projects I am involved in at the moment vary from office refurbishments and residential developments for commercial companies, as well as domestic projects for private clients and styling for magazine photoshoots. On top of all that I am in the process of trying to move house myself, so there is a lot going on.

What does you office space say about you?
Since I am in the process of re-working my office space, I would say that at the moment it is very organised chaos!

Describe your perfect day?
It would start with a long lie in bed - not having to set the alarm clock is a great feeling. The telephones would not be constantly ringing, and I then would spend the rest of the day doing things at my leisure, without having to check my diary for the next appointment. |
